Capture
Speak naturally and see your words appear on screen instantly. VoxCraft shows both a live speculative preview and finalized text, so you always know where you are.
Start recording, say "Meeting notes from today. We discussed Q4 budget and the timeline for the product launch." — text appears word-by-word, then solidifies once you pause.
Dictate in over 30 languages including English (US, UK, AU, IN, NZ), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Russian, and many more.
Switch to Spanish in Settings > Language, then dictate "Hola, me llamo Sarah" and the app transcribes in Spanish.
VoxCraft automatically formats numbers, times, currency, dates, lists, and punctuation as you speak. Say "one thousand" and get "1,000". Say "three oh five p.m." and get "3:05 PM".
Say "five dollars" → "$5" · Say "January fifteenth" → formatted date · Say "comma" or "period" to insert punctuation.
Full control over your recording sessions: start/stop with a click or shortcut, cancel to discard, resume to append, mute mid-session, or use hold-to-record mode for quick bursts.
Hold Ctrl+Shift+R for >400ms to record momentarily — release to stop. Quick press toggles recording on/off.
Choose from multiple connected microphones and let Voice Activity Detection (VAD) automatically detect when you start and stop speaking. Only active speech is sent for transcription.
Settings > System > MicrophoneCorrect yourself naturally while speaking. Say “actually” or “I mean” and the AI understands you’re revising what you just said — replacing the mistake with your correction automatically.
Say “The meeting is at 2 PM… actually 3 PM” — the AI knows you’re correcting yourself and outputs “The meeting is at 3 PM”, not both times.
Command
Say "slash command" to open a command block. Everything inside becomes instructions for the AI — not dictated text. Say "slash command" again to close.
Say "I had a great meeting today slash command make this sound more professional slash command" — the AI receives the instruction separately.
Say "slash full stop" to stop recording and trigger AI processing instantly. It auto-closes any open command block. Say "slash delete" to remove the word immediately before it — like a voice-activated backspace.
Say "Dear team, I want to share an update slash command rewrite as a formal email slash full stop" — recording stops, AI processes, result auto-copied.
Create trigger phrases that auto-expand into longer text. Default snippets include "slash new line", "slash my email", "slash my name" and more. Tone presets like "slash make professional" inject entire command blocks automatically.
Say "Here's the deal, we need to ship by Friday slash make professional slash full stop" — AI rewrites with professional tone, auto-copied.
Add specialized terms — company names, technical jargon, acronyms — to improve transcription accuracy. These are sent to the speech engine as emphasis hints.
Add "Kubernetes", "Terraform", "microservices" to your dictionary — technical discussions transcribe much more accurately.
Transform
When you use slash full stop, your dictation is sent to an LLM for transformation. The result streams back word-by-word in real-time, rendered as live Markdown, and auto-copied to your clipboard.
Dictate "so basically the quarterly numbers are looking pretty good, revenue up, costs down" then say slash full stop — the AI polishes it instantly.
Choose from built-in presets or create your own. Set a default that runs every time. Presets include Subtle optimization, Refine and polish, Optimize for readability, Rephrase for email, Format as markdown, and more.

Transcripts and AI responses render with full markdown formatting: bold, italic, headings, lists, code blocks, links, blockquotes, and horizontal rules.
